Mat-Tug-Matics

Position: Game Designer & Gameplay Engineer
Made with Unity
Created for BCI Games’ 3-day game jam that utilizes Brain-Computer Interface as controls, Mat-Tug-Matics is a two-player game where players will answer math problems quickly to drag their opponent into the endless pothole in the middle of the street!

Development Process

I worked on Mat-Tug-Matics with a team of 6 for the BCI Game Jam which took place over a weekend. Our goal was to create a fun game with simple controls for kids with severe physical disabilties who want to play or have never played a video game.
With BCI Games, we were able to deliver a game that allows players to compete in a wacky tug of war experience using their knowledge of mathematics using simple keyboard inputs or using a Brain-Computer Interface device.
I believe that video games are an amazing form of art and entertainment that everyone should be able to participate in and hope that my contributions to this project has gifted people the ability to game!
